Republic of Decor is the brain child of David Fruscione, an award winning designer who has worked for nearly 20 years for some of the best brands in retail. David spent many years working in San Francisco as Senior Interior Designer for Banana Republic, creating new concepts and store experiences globally. He then moved to Southwest Florida to become Store Design Creative Director for White House I Black Market, Soma, and Chico’s, successfully evolving the stores into the future. His passion for retail inspired him to follow his dream to create a brand of his own.
David’s forte is to transform spaces using his natural intuition, out of the box thinking and extensive educational background. He holds a degree in Interior Architecture, Marketing, and Buying & Merchandising, a powerful trifecta to launch a successful brand.

Most recently, David was selected as a finalist for Best Interior Designer by the National Interior Design Society and finished in 2nd Place for an ASID Design Excellance Award. Republic of Decor has been selected as one of the top 50 home furnishings stores in the United States by Home Accents today, a leading trade publication.
