Minimalists, prepare yourself - one of the biggest trends this season is big, bold, and eclectic. From pattern mixing and exaggerated proportions to metallics accents and other novelty materials, you might be thinking this trend lends itself only to the nighttime party girl. But we have other plans in mind. We challenge you to wear these pieces to work. The trick here is to make a strong statement without being too over the top. To shine brightly even when you're the boss, ground high novelty tops with classic twill pants, add a cool touch with a textural bag, make a case for casual Friday with color blocking, and ornate denim. Look for a fun jacket that can pay off of your wardrobe in a subtle way. And finally, think bold patterns to add a jolt of energy to the home. Lively accent pillows and ottomans will surely create a sense of party in any room.
