After Chico's New Careers Emerge 

Former Employees of Fort Myers- based Chico's FAS have reinvented themselves, either out of a sense of necessity or by choice 

Scott Hansen was working for women's specialty retailer coldwater creek in small-town Idaho when rival Chicos FAS reached out to him on the LinkedIn professional network. 

It was 2007, and chicos had experienced a hiring spree after entering into state and county incentive agreements the previous year tied to creating 225 jobs.

The Fort Myers based company needed someone like Hansen to lead market production for white house | Black market, a chico brand.
