High Point Market Fall 2026 - Favorites & Inspiration
I recently drove to High Point, NC on the quest for eye candy and inspiration at Fall market. I have visited many times over the years, so I have my strategy down. I know where to invest time to be the most productive. However, with each visit I task myself with finding at least one new resource. The showrooms were busy but not packed, it was easy to get around and I accomplished what I set out to do.
Above are some of my favorite finds - I like their soft neutral color palettes, gentle rounded shapes and great details. My gold star from this trip was that uber chic dining chair. I love the simple shape, wood tone and texture of the upholstery but the studs down the legs are incredible. Stylish, edgy and interesting!

My first observation was that green is still very strong. I found it used on everything from upholstery, casegoods and decorative pieces. In particular, I was drawn to a olive/sage/mossy tone - greens with a bit more yellow in them than blue.

Another theme that kept catching my attention were warm whites inspired by nature. These pieces were stand outs - the detail and texture was spectacular. Imagine the soft yet bold statement you can make with an item like one of these in your space.

While we are talking bold, these finds are wow pieces in my opinion. The scale and power command a space. In particular, I was blown away by the spiral wall sculpture. It is made from skateboards!

Brown is back and in a big way. Many showrooms were showing deep, dark chocolates used on just about everything. Brown to me gives you a warm, cozy and comfortable feeling. I tend to be drawn to pieces that also have great texture so the color doesn't feel flat. That mirror frame is made of layers and layers of fabric!
What do you think? Are you digging the pieces that caught my eye? My design soul guides me to unique, textured, organic yet edgy selections. I like the tension of soft and bold. You just have to know where to use in order to find balance in a space.
Until next time - David
