Republic of Decor To Open New Retail Flagship in Greenville

Exciting changes are coming to Republic of Decor as the fabulous design shop and studio celebrates its 10 year anniversary!

Time does fly by, that is for sure. I created my own business after spending many years working for big brands we all know. I was at a point in my life that I wanted to invest in myself, be my own boss and develop my own thing. Many remember my gorgeous shop in the Naples Design District where I established roots and became a destination in that neighborhood. For 7 years, I met wonderful people, worked on great jobs, hosted events and shared my treasures with you. When Hurricane Ian hit SWFL, my design sanctuary was not immune and the space flooded and as a result it forced me to leave. I closed for a few months and moved into Waterside Shops, Naples' premier shopping mall as a seasonal pop up. This opportunity was such a blessing, It was surreal to be neighbors with such high-end brands. After a few months, it was time to pack up again. I pivoted to the Naples Trade Center neighborhood where many design resources are located. Over the past 2 years, I created a beautiful showroom and design studio. I developed a trade program to support other design professionals, welcomed familiar faces and met new customers who made the effort to find me. I was doing everything I could to keep moving forward but it still didn't feel right.

Over the past few months as I approached this anniversary, I reflected deeply on my journey, what makes me happy and questioned how I wanted to write my next chapter. After lots of sleepless nights, conversations with respected mentors and other circumstances I had to tackle, I have made the decision to close the retail portion of my business in Naples. Over the next weeks, I will be preparing for the move. My Naples based design services will remain. I have been blessed with fantastic clients in SWFL and will continue to support them.

I have incredible intuition and truly believe that the universe guides me. My soul is nourished by great retail. Hunting for merchandise, developing products and building environments for customers to explore, truly gives me joy. I always fantasized about having a great retail business for all 12 months! Imagine having customers who supported you throughout the year. The mental ups and downs of planning a business in a seasonal town has always been exhausting. 

Hello Greenville!

From encouragement from a dear friend who left Naples and moved to Greenville, SC, I took a trip to see what she was talking about. It was love at first sight. I was drawn to the energy and Southern hospitality of this year-round community and started to explore opportunities. I did lots of research, spoke with numerous business owners and even had lunch with the Mayor who encouraged me to open a shop! My retail guardian angels delivered and I found a fabulous space downtown. I have begun the process to prepare to open in Early 2026! I am so excited to build another retail destination. This time, it will be bigger than before with more product categories and exclusive private label collections. I will now have the joy of working with customers in 2 markets!

I have mixed emotions as I navigate through all of this but know it is what I am supposed to do. I hope my SWFL customers wish me well and will stay in touch. I will still send out email newsletters so you can keep tabs on me and will continue to have an online shop to find goodies.
